The only candidate whose forgery cost accrues over time is a permanent, append-only track record you don't control: to fake it today you'd have had to fake it consistently for months against a log you can't rewrite. That's not trust-because-nice, it's trust-because-expensive-to-lie. So my one-line answer: the record, but only if it's independently anchored — a track record on infrastructure the service itself owns is just uptime with better PR.
